Computer Services and Telecommunications is seeking a Microsoft Applications Programmer.
This position will be working with our Microsoft Application Development team providing .NET based enterprise solutions for students, staff and faculty. The ideal candidate should have an understanding of all phases of software life cycle with a focus on Quality Assurance and testing.
This position will:
Assist in the design, development and security of the university’s windows and web based applications.
Assist in coordinating and communication with vendors and manufactures to maintain current software; works closely with the Microsoft Programmer –Lead to ensure the best technology solutions are pursued.
Monitor all applications performance and is responsible for pro-actively preventing problems.
Coordinate all changes to applications and may lead a team to implement changes.
Be responsible for the resolution of applications issues and/or settings, and for moving applications from development to production.
Be responsible for all documentation changes.
Assist in the deployment and security of the university’s windows and web based applications.
