iOS Mobile App Developer – Create 5 Star Apps & Memorable Travel Experiences
We're looking for a creative & talented “iOS Developer” to join our skilled Multi-Channel team, and the wider engineering/technology community at The LateRooms Group.
This role plays a key part in the Multi-Channel initiative here at The LateRooms Group. With the challenge of not just mobile and tablet technologies, but also the ever changing technological landscape, this is a cutting edge team to be part of. We would want you to bring your experience of developing in Objective-C for iOS devices to help drive an ever improving experience to our customers via 5 Star Apps.
You will be working in a team of cross skilled Objective-C/Java Developers across both platforms, with a view to increasing your knowledge not only in iOS Development, but also Java and Android.
As an iOS Developer you will be:…
- Highly competent in Objective-C Development, but can demonstrate adaptability in other areas.
- Have a strong desire to learn new languages, such as Java, Android Development and SDK.
- Have as much passion in HOW you work & deliver as you do in the technology you use, so terms like 'Craftsmanship', 'Clean Code', 'TDD', 'Self Organising', 'Metrics', 'Fast Feedback', 'Automate Everything' ... is not just a pipe dream but your mantra!
- Passionate about creating 5 Star Apps & Experiences to a wide customer base. Within 6 months our all new apps have seen close to ¼ million customer downloads.
- Regularly launching your products to a stable, secure live environment serving millions of customers.
- Helping our business assess new ideas and see what's possible in an ecommerce industry.
- Putting together a backlog that focuses on getting the most valuable ideas in front of customers, as quickly as possible.
- Working with the wider team to develop software using the latest methods and technologies, underpinned by the core principles of Extreme Programming.
- Working in a positive learning environment, attending workshops and collaborating with other Developers on a regular basis.
