Digital Solutions Team (DST) is looking for a Java/J2EE Application Developer with SAP Hybris expertise to help define and build a next generation Global Web platform.

In this position you will be working as part of a highly technical agile/scrum team tasked with implementation and integration of a new e-commerce solution based on SAP Hybris platform. You will be responsible for enabling key features and capabilities as prioritized by the business, and leveraging them to define and implement complete B2C and B2B e-commerce solutions and web applications.
Responsibilities:
• As a member of an agile development team you will be responsible for all aspects of iterative software development lifecycle, focused on delivering and maximizing business value with each development iteration. This will entail embracing the agile/ scrum development framework, engaging with product owners to help prioritize and size increments of work, and working with the team to design, develop, test, integrate and demonstrate new features and capabilities.
• As a Java developer, you will:
o Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance
o Participate and contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle, using agile methodologies
o Write well designed, testable, efficient code
o Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
o Prepare and produce releases of software components
• You will engage with solutions architects and other Subject Matter Experts to define and deliver robust, flexible and globally-scalable technology solutions that meet established business objectives.
• You will conduct research, and recommend and implement optimal technical solutions leveraging the most appropriate tools and technologies with a proven track record in the industry.
• As part of your work, you will be helping define and establish processes, standards, and best practices pertaining to software development lifecycle in an Agile/SCRUM environment, and ensuring fit and alignment it with methods and tools practiced by the Global Digital development team.
• You will look for improvement opportunities in our methods and tools that can be addressed through technical solutions, and will work with other team members to implement.
• You will be expected to work in close collaboration with other members of the development team, providing technical leadership and guidance and sharing expertise
• You will be expected to troubleshoot development and production issues, seeing them through resolution and communicating progress along the way
• Communication skills will be critical to the success of this position as you will be required to actively engage and collaborate with your peers across multiple functions, organizations, and geographies.
