Position Summary
CallMiner is seeking an innovative, experienced technical product manager to help us optimize and evolve our cloud-based analytics platform. Voice of the Customer analytics — the analysis of verbal and written conversations between businesses and their customers — is one of the hottest offerings in speech technology and customer experience management, and the Product Manager for our back-end platform will occupy an industry-leading role in delivering a scalable, real-time, high-volume speech processing and analytics solution.
As Product Manager you will drive the continuing development and evolution of our core platform, acting as product owner (the customer & business interface) to the product development Scrum Teams. Working closely with our Senior Architect and Applications Product Managers, you will help identify, define, and prioritize platform- and analytics-related user stories according release themes and customer, market, and architectural demands. You will build an intimate understanding of current customer challenges and use of CallMiner products to help drive and prioritize next generation features and non-functional requirements. The Product Manager will work regularly with the development team to plan sprints, clarify expectations, review and verify implementation. You may be called on to support design and documentation tasks, and you must have a strong propensity to ‘get stuff done’ and ‘make stuff happen’.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Collect and prioritize requirements through internal and external customer interaction, as well as market and technical research
- Identify, write, and prioritize stories based on a firm understanding of user, market, and technical requirements
- Detail acceptance criteria to clearly articulate the “what” must be delivered for any given story
- Execute on all product owner related tasks within the Scrum team including product and release backlog management, new story review and triage, sprint planning, etc.
- Conduct competitive feature analysis as applicable to understanding how to meet customer demands
- Contribute to analytical and platform design and documentation
