REGEN is looking for a highly motivated, experienced, hard-working and goal driven individual with a passion for high-tech systems and infrastructures, to help us expand our reach and conquer the energy world!
You will be responsible for leading the concept, design and delivery of technical architecture that underpins REGEN’s core products and services for energy management.You will add, enhance and maintain services to establish a scalable and reliable platform on which REGEN and its customers will rely upon for continuous zero-downtime operation whilst processing millions of transactions each day.
As part of an agile Scrum-based team you will deliver deployable software solutions in short sprints, and ensure that the software development life cycle activities by the team are consistent with the direction set by accepted best practices and internal standards.You will work on highly technical architecture initiatives, which includes but is not limited to: research, tool evaluation, documenting patterns and standards, technology framework evaluation and recommendation, developing shared libraries and resources, and mentoring developers through hands-on assistance, training and some technical development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and author the technical services architecture roadmap.
- Take technical ownership of delivery of the architecture component services from start to end, including new and legacy platforms.
- Analyze requirements and contribute to systems and application architecture and design.
- Work in an Agile Scrum environment where the focus is on the team work and ownership of each project.
- Concentrate on team building, leadership and mentoring developers in software development practices, design, accuracy, quality and completeness.
- Define and enforce adherence to architecture principles, architectural standards, and usability design standards.
- Implement the use of software development tools and methods to enable agile-focused continuous development and delivery, and simplified, standards-based, cost effective application architectures.
- Design, develop, test and re-factoring feature rich, clean and extensible user interfaces and features.
- Debug and troubleshoot software related issues.
- Collaborate across different teams to bring together ideas and gain consensus for the technical direction of the applications within the domain.
- Participate in the establishment of the technology direction for application platforms, products and tools.
- Evaluate and recommend the appropriate technologies, ensuring full compatibility with all other appropriate existing and anticipated new technologies, based on enterprise requirements and needs.
- Write clear, concise, and accurate system documentation.
