We seek an industry experienced Technical Writer to create content for IT professionals who are new to Wowza products and/or the streaming industry as well as for experienced Wowza platform users. This position will require you to set up and use Wowza software and other 3rd party software to plan, write, and curate a wide variety of content including tutorials, User Guides, technical articles, white papers, deployment guides, UI text, video, and training material. You will work closely with Wowza's project management, engineering, support, marketing, and infrastructure teams, as well as Wowza partners and customers, to define and implement content strategies. You will also help to establish new best practices, improve existing processes, and implement new tools to increase operational efficiencies for managing content.
You will report to the Documentation Manager as a member of the technical documentation team. You will work closely with a cross-functional and geographically-dispersed team of experienced software professionals who are focused on creating, improving, and driving adoption of Wowza streaming media products. This role will require you to move nimbly from project to project and thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple assignments of varying complexity.
