This job specification is for a Software Development Engineer in Test with excellent software development skills in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript as well as web application test frameworks such as Selenium and a passion for QA. Experience in C++, C#, Java, Python or Ruby is a plus. The successful candidate must have great communication skills. Experience with large scale commercial web service development is Ericsson Ireland as part of Business Unit Support Solutions is a plus.
The successful candidate will work closely with other developers, and Program Managers to develop test strategies, tools and test code to test the product and constantly improve product and testing quality. A deep passion for quality is a critical characteristic for the role.
