We are seeking a talented Web Developer to help us deliver the next wave of innovation and features to Prosper.com. The right candidate will have complete command of web development technologies including strong skills with OO JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, as well as experience designing user interfaces and user experience design. Demonstrated experience with ASP.net and modern JavaScript Programming Patterns is highly desirable, but not required. A commitment to aesthetics, lean development practices and proper coding standards is crucial.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other developers and designers to build medium to large scale projects
- Create clean, maintainable, cross-browser compatible code from mockups
- Implement highly responsive UI functionality using Backbone.js, MVC, jQuery, JavaScript and AJAX
- Keep up with evolving web standards and best practices
- Facilitate SEO, usability, conversion and AB testing initiatives
