Web Test Analyst / BA
The Web Test Analyst / BA will lead and implement the QA processes for the development of all Research Research websites and products. They will be responsible for ensuring the processes follow best practice and use the most appropriate tools. They will also have the opportunity to feed into the requirements specification process and develop their business analysis skills.

Whether it's a global initiative to tackle infectious disease or a small, narrowly-focused grants programme for mathematicians in Finland, we’ll tell you what’s happening, who’s involved and what the implications of the programme are likely to be. We are based in Shoreditch.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and carry out functional, integration, and end-to-end testing of web applications, taking ownership for this process and improving on it wherever possible
- Identify risks and key areas for test coverage
- Script and execute automated integration, browser compatibility and performance tests
- Manage and carry out the testing process as part of development iterations
- Define and oversee execution of UAT deployments and stability
- Liaise/support business and development team during UAT cycles
- Lead departmental automated testing strategy and choice of automated testing tools
- Liaise with client services team to deal with support queries
- Work with business owners to gather requirements as necessary
- Participate in managing the product backlog
- Turn requirements into specification and contributing to estimation
- Work with developers to understand and explain the technical path to delivering on requirements and challenging those requirements where necessary
