We are looking for senior developers who have knowledge (or are very interested) in big data systems. We use no-SQL technologies to process millions of points of interests to create various data products used by millions users over the world. We also develop enhanced web crawlers and search technology.
In this role you work in Scrum teams and you will have the responsibility to design and develop software according specifications, discuss unclear requirements with the Product Owner and write unit tests to validate the quality of the software. You guide more junior engineers and take the responsibility to deliver software products in time and within scope.
- Analyze change requests, estimate projects, and work together with the product management to obtain clear specifications;
- Work independently or in a team as a (technical) leader;
- Define technical solutions and architectures;
- Implement solutions based on best practices;
- Review code and advise junior software engineers;
- Test the deliverables (unit tests, performance tests, functional acceptance tests).
