This role will focus on risk analysis and quality throughout the organization as well as our products. You will be coordinating the efforts of a small team of software test engineers and choosing/managing outsourced QA teams as appropriate. This is expected to be a very technical role, not simply a managerial position.
Responsibilities:
- Identify risks and propose mitigation steps in our organization, processes, or products.
- Direct a team of software test engineers.
- Participate in product architecture and design reviews.
- Assess and report on product quality using industry-standard metrics.
- Evaluate various tools and techniques used by the quality and software teams.
- Create and direct quality initiatives in the development organization.
- Determine a direction for quality analysis of enterprise releases.
