Our small, but growing, team of developers, scientists, and entrepreneurs is looking for an Agile Tester and Customer Support Enthusiast to help us create web and mobile applications that enable people to improve their physical and emotional health. Test user stories within iterative sprints, working as part of the development team. Collaborate with users by answering questions, eliciting feedback and troubleshooting the occasional bug. Apply Agile practices to create software that delights our users and changes their behavior in meaningful ways. And do it all from the comfort of your home office, working 100% remote from anywhere in the US!
Software QA
- Working as part of the development team, test new user stories and bug fixes within sprints, across major browsers and devices.
- Clearly report bugs in our issue tracking system (Pivotal Tracker), including steps to reproduce and screenshots.
- Use tools for automated functional testing.
User & Customer Support
- Respond to support requests from users and customers. Enter reported bugs into our issue tracking system, as necessary, and work with the Product Owner to prioritize fixes. Communicate expected resolutions.
- Create and maintain MailChimp email campaigns as part of our wellness interventions, using content provided by the Research team.
- Administer the Learning Management System (LMS) courses and user accounts.
- Help compile and distribute usage reports with Google Analytics and Tableau.
Collaborate as a Remote Agile team
- Collaborate as part of a cross-functional team to deliver sprint goals.
- Participate in release and sprint planning and backlog grooming.
- Write acceptance criteria, and use them as the basis for testing user stories.
- Estimate user stories in story points as part of the development team.
- Advocate for our users.
