Software QA Engineer at Scout Exchange (Boston, MA)

We are looking for a QA Analyst to build automated testing for our large-scale multi-tenant B2B service offerings. We provide an engineering-focused culture that puts a premium on responsibility, freedom, learning, and creativity. 


What we are looking for...



  • We work with MacOS, Windows, Linux, python, Selenium, Robot, , Javascript, CSS, MySql, MongoDB, Elastic Search, AWS, SOAP, REST, Jenkins, Jira, Git, Confluence, and more

  • Those technologies not your areas of expertise? No problem, great QA analysts can pick up new technologies in no time, and great QA analysts are what we’re seeking

  • We put the greatest value in a QA analyst’s ability to understand the product domain, creatively develop test cases that explore all facets of the product, work collaboratively, and learn new skills. We will challenge you while giving you all the tools and support to succeed

  • You will be asked to be an active participant on an agile scrum team representing product quality while contributing to story implementation

  • You will be asked to contribute to all aspects of our products.  Just a few of these areas includes:

    • Testing web applications

    • Writing high quality, comprehensive test cases

    • Developing test automation for stories; improving the test framework

    • Collaborating with developers, QA engineers and product owners to define features, define test strategy and drive future product direction

    • Solving challenges in testing 3pty API integrations

    • Testing against REST and SOAP APIs

    • Deploying code to AWS. No data centers here.

    • Innovative problem solving to product testing

    • Troubleshooting issues reported by the current customer user base

    • Understanding the end user’s workflows utilizing the Scout product
