- Be a part of the product and scrum team, from the inception of a project, and define test plans, point out deviations from use cases, and introduce QA throughout the entire Agile process.
- Build + automate acceptance tests for user stories and use cases.
- Consult with the development team to brainstorm test ideas, vet out developer-written specs, and ensure that test coverage is of high quality and at a high level.
- Help development team brainstorm test ideas, edge cases and produce sound test plans for features they are working on.
- Ensure all use cases + deviation cases are adequately covered with high quality, repeatable acceptance tests.
- Build tools to quickly populate a staging database with relevant test data.
- Keep up to date with current QA trends, tools, and practices and implement the latest and greatest for the organization.
