The Network Platform Engineering team is a dynamic, global team delivering and supporting technology infrastructure to meet the substantial growth needs of the business and is essential to deployment of all new equipment and upgrades to hardware and software. Our network automation team is essential to development of automation of consistent and stable infrastructure, and the deployment of all new equipment and upgrades to hardware and software. In this role, you will be a critical part of owning, driving & delivering network automation solutions to the broader network engineering organization customizing our existing toolset & expanded our tools portfolio where necessary.
Successful candidates will be someone who is not only a network engineer, but will also possess a proven ability to develop automated solutions at scale within a matrix team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Development experience with successful delivery
- DevOps or IDLC working experience
- Work with a robust and automated QE framework to test changes prior to production rollout.
- Provide input into long-range networking requirements and operational guidelines, with a focus on automation and improving the performance and reliability of the network and the overall service.
- Partner with network organization to understand the operational automation requirements and their impact on the network.
- This role will be expected to do hands-on work, either coding or other concrete scrum team deliverables, and will be held accountable to those.
