C# Developer (Backend Web) - Come join our San Diego office! at Bluebeam Software, Inc. (San Diego, CA)

Bluebeam is looking for a highly skilled web developer with a passion for making LOB (line-of-business) applications. You should have strong experience with semantic HTML and CSS, extensive knowledge of native JavaScript, and familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like jQuery, AngularJS, Backbone.js, Ember.js, etc. In addition, you should be proficient in ASP.NET 4.5, MVC, and Web API as well as working with RESTful web services.

As part of a web development team charged with taking our flagship product into the future, you will have the opportunity to work with design, implementation, and deployment, in addition to a rich intuitive UI. You’ll be a key contributor in bringing a feature-rich desktop application to a web context and have a chance to ensure that performance meets critical standards. You will also contribute to our technical roadmap. Working on the Bluebeam Web Team will give you exposure to a wide array of technologies such as large scale image rendering, real-time collaboration services, 3D Image Processing, and Complex Algorithms, just to name a few.

What we'd like to see in you:



  • 5+ years of experience in a related field

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher - Computer Science or equivalent field

  • Proven Web Development experience in .NET technologies, particularly C# and MVC

  • Extensive knowledge of native JavaScript and JS frameworks such as jQuery

  • Strong understanding of JavaScript performance and optimization

  • Extensive use of APIs and understanding of HTTP and REST architecture

  • Strong UI Design Experience

  • Experience using OO methodologies in designing software solutions

  • Strong understanding of design patterns and development frameworks such as MVC

  • Proven ability to work in a rapid release production environment

  • Passion for delivering strong dependable code

  • Full understanding of the SDLC 

  • Comfort with working in an Agile/SCRUM environment


What we’d love to see in you



  • Architectural, Engineering, design domain knowledge

  • Experience with AWS and EC2

  • Leadership or mentoring skills (Be prepared to discuss)
