Everbridge, Inc. is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer for its Glendale, CA or Lexington, MA office to be an integral part of the platform engineering team supporting its flagship notification system. The ideal candidate must be proficient in the development of real-time high performance, concurrent, fault-tolerant parallel processing applications using Java. The position requires excellent problem-solving skills along with strong communication skill.
Specific duties include:
- Drive the design and implementation of the core infrastructure and software stacks with the initial focus on the voice platform development.
- Evaluate and select off-the-shelf products or open-source components that can be integrated into the existing system to improve scalability and manageability.
- Write quality and maintainable code with extensive test coverage in a fast-paced environment.
- Work directly with product management, QA, and related team leads to ensure the timely completion of projects.
