PHP/Python Developer at SiteCompli LLC (New York, NY)

SiteCompli is looking for a talented Software Developer/Programmer who will have a key stake in building new products and features for an award winning, innovative software engineering company in the Commercial Real Estate business. Our product suite makes NYC real estate compliance easy to navigate for the largest building owners and property managers in the world.


We need someone who is passionate about back-end development.  You’ll be working with complex data models, Amazon Web Services and using test-driven design to shape and create critical new infrastructure and platforms.  


As a Software Developer, you will work in the full spectrum of the stack.  You’ll be working on PHP, MySQL, Apache and will need to know your way around a Linux box.  You’ll even work on some Python, NoSQL, Message Queuing and other terrific technology.  You’ll bring new ideas to the table, champion new processes and technologies, learn new stuff and most importantly – have a great time doing it.


Day to Day:



  • Use technology practices and tools that you are passionate about to build great ideas for our business.

  • Learn about new technology and practices that will help grow your career and improve our client experience.

  • Challenged with the task of building innovative solutions to large, complex issues with big government data.

  • Build out new functionality within our successful products, improving existing features and smashing the occasional bug.

  • Perform unit testing.

  • Work exclusively on the LAMP stack (PHP and a bit of Python), message queuing systems, large-scale MySQL/PostgreSQL databases and in-house RESTful APIs.

  • Be immersed in the full SDLC process using Agile/Scrum methods.
