The Touch Surgery Android and iOS apps are used by 1000’s of professional and trainee surgeons daily. These generate analytics that feed into a powerful Dashboard product, which is used within healthcare. The Dashboard must deliver a market-leading experience in terms of state-of-the-art responsive web UX / UI, rapidly-expanding feature set, high availability and high scalability.
The Front End Developer role has the following responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for delivering the UX / UI of the Dashboard product
Working closely with Product, Design and Engineering teams to define requirements
Prolific creation of robust and highly maintainable code
Demonstrating best practice in use of testing, version control, and SCRUM mechanics
Reporting to the Lead Web developer
Required skills and experience:
Demonstrable ability to be the key front-end developer in a fast-moving web development team
Expert in modern front-end frameworks (e.g. Backbone, Angular)
Expert in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
Strong knowledge of REST, JSON, XML
Strong knowledge of databases including SQL and NoSQL variants
Good working knowledge of Linux
Knowledge of Python (ideally Django) an advantage
Salary: Very competitive.
