Detailed Description
The Release/Project Manager reports to the Director of Solutions Delivery within Product Engineering (PE). In this position, you will manage monthly releases in a scrum environment across multiple scrum teams. As an integral part of the PE team, you will help with scoping of sprints from an enterprise backlog; and consult to ensure epics are turned into deliverable user stories. In addition, you will manage scope and change management process, issue and risk management, and preparation /delivery of status appropriately for all levels of the organization. This is a 6 month contract-to-hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership in a heavily matrixed environment
- Continuously assess project risk factors and recommend courses of action to mitigate risk
- Collaborate with multiple Product Engineering and functional teams to build comprehensive plans for each Release; communicate Schedule and Milestones for all plans
- Collaborate with various management teams to participate in the in-take process, roadmap process and software application release process
- Ensure that all releases have the appropriate business and support team visibility
