Undercover Tourist, an established e-commerce company, is looking for a Software Engineer to serve as a core member of our engineering team.
You will be responsible for assisting the development of new product offerings to our customers, maintain the existing functionality of our website and developing administrative tools to help power our operations.
Successful candidates will have a solid Object Oriented Programming background and be experienced at server side development in a collaborative environment. You must be comfortable with proactively managing deadlines and rapid change, as we are a small, nimble team!
This position is located at Undercover Tourist’s executive headquarters in Austin, TX.
Roles & Responsibilities
You will work directly with the lead engineers implementing new features and maintaining, enhancing and bug fixing the existing code base.
Project work will include API integration, data modeling and admin tool development in our the Django Framework.
Code review and optimization with other engineers.
Estimation of user stories/task scheduling to help reach project management goals.
