Dow Jones is looking for Quality Assurance test automation professionals to oversee and perform the full spectrum of test automation within the Institutional Technology Group. This role will design and develop automation frameworks using Selenium, facilitate continuous improvement for products and processes, and play a key role in ensuring that our Scrum teams deliver industry-leading products of the highest quality.
Position Responsibilities:
Design and develop innovative automation frameworks and applications using Selenium and other open-source tools.
Provides leadership for and participates in the design and development of software and system quality assurance testing.
Work closely with software development counterparts to build out their TDD unit test cases and continuous integration automated validation suites.
Participate in software design sessions following the Scrum process.
Project sizing and estimates, scheduling, and reporting in support of successful product deployment.
Recent experience with any of the following technologies and processes would be relevant and beneficial:
- Test automation using Selenium
- Test-driven development
- Scripting languages (Perl, Python, Bash, etc)
- Continuous integration (Jenkins, Hudson)
- Compute clouds (Amazon EC2, Google Compute Engine)
- Monitoring and logging systems (Splunk, Graphite, Statsd, Cloudwatch)
- Node.js, JavaScript
- Agile / Scrum
