For our dedicated team in Munich we are seeking a Web Developer (m/f)
Your main tasks:
You will be working in a self-organized agile product team which consists of several developers, a UX Designer, a product and two content managers as well as a scrum master. Your specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- further development of our CMS via PHP (Zend-Framework) and ExtJS
- maintain and optimize document based and relational databases (CouchDB, MySQL)
- design complex logics to tap into new sources of content
- implement mobile and desktop frontends for chip.de users in collaboration with the UX department
We practice an undogmatic mixture of Scrum and Kanban. All team members are encouraged to contribute to the continual advancement of this process.
Your Profile:
- university degree and/or professional experience in computer science
- several years experience in software and web development
- excellent knowledge of PHP (OOP) and MySQL
- you are familiar with test driven development (TDD)
- knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- experience with document-oriented databases, e.g. CouchDB or knowledge in Symfony2 and Zend Framework is a plus
- you are agile and enjoy working as a team player
- good communication skills in German or English
