You will have the opportunity to be part of a growing team at Ipreo, responsible for testing and managing the quality vertical for an exciting new product offering. RoadshowAccess (RA) is a new web-based platform which allows users to create, manage and view virtual roadshows, in connection with equity, fixed income, and municipal new issuance marketing.
What you'll work on:
- Actively participate in the definition process, collaborating with the team on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Review requirements to define testing scope, test plans, and review with cross functional team members (also for integration projects) / performance engineers.
- Provide effort estimates to support testing strategy and identify resource needs
- Write test cases and detailed test scripts, identify and validate defects via ad hoc testing, and run regression tests. Identify and remedy gaps in test coverage, and identify and coordinate data needs for testing.
- Manage testing progress to the QA schedule, proactively identify risks to the timeline, and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks.
- Track issues found during testing efforts, and document clear re-testing instructions
- Provide testing metrics and reports for the QA dashboard to effectively communicate status to the team and management.
- Represent the QA team in project status meetings.
- Collaborate with Product and Development teams on sprint progress, providing clarity on progress of goals, automation, issues, and prioritizing items
- Work and coordinate with our offshore automation team
