Technical Product Manager - Advanced Programs Team
As a Technical Product Manager, you will drive the system requirements and architecture to implement new functionality. You will collaborate with our solutions designers, software engineers, hardware engineers, QA team, and fulfillment center operations personnel to come up with effective, simple, elegant feature designs, balancing operational needs with technical and architectural tradeoffs. You will be a go-to person on the system functionality and configuration. You will be a point person for operational feedback and will use this feedback to optimize existing functionality and develop new features.
Responsibilities
- Work with solutions team and operations managers to create high level feature / functional requirements
- Define detailed functional requirements including happy path and exception cases
- Make tradeoffs in the face of conflicting requirements or architectural restrictions
- Gain consensus on feature functionality
- Write user stories
- Create detailed workflow designs to define user experience and robotic system interactions, while working closely with engineering to understand system architecture
- Define back end messaging to support workflows
