We are looking for ambitious and internationally minded commercial talents to participate in our Graduate Traineeship. Our Graduate Traineeship will give you, insight into and hands-on experience with a fast-growing global internet company and a unique opportunity to learn about our business from some of the industry’s best people. We are seeking to give you maximum exposure to all parts of our business to assist in your development. In order to do this you will be rotated into different projects over the course of this program. During the program, you will develop an in-depth understanding and knowledge of IT at Booking.com, working on live projects and getting on and off-the job training. Integral part to this is showing you how the different parts of our business interact. You will complete an intensive 12-month program based in our global headquarters in Amsterdam, supported by a network of colleagues, managers, mentor and our HR team.

With over half a million room nights reserved on Booking.com daily, we are seeking developers driven by challenges of scalability and rapid, customer-focused development. Our development strategy is agile and based on Scrum. We do several rollouts every day. We are data-driven and do extensive A/B testing. Everything we do is aimed at solving problems for our customers. If it doesn't help our customers, we're not interested in doing it. At Booking.com the development work is done in-house. We have highly skilled Developers, Database Administrators, Unix Administrators, Web Designers, and Network Engineers working together to make our site user-friendly, responsive and commercially performing. About your role in the Front End team
At Booking.com our guiding principle is that by helping our users we help our business. As part of the Front End Development team you will be building the user interfaces of the Booking.com website. You'll be a key part of the idea generation process, working in a small startup-like team which takes full ownership of their part of our platform. You'll work side by side with designers, back end developers, product owners, copywriters and user researchers to conceive, analyze, hand code & test your ideas.
Your main responsibilities will be
- Translate requirements and mockups into fully functioning features using JavaScript and HTML/CSS
- Continuously look for ways to improve Booking.com and implement A/B tests
- Take ownership of sections of Booking.com's desktop, tablet and mobile web sites
