UI/UX Developer (WPF and C# .NET experience needed) at Bluebeam Software, Inc. (Pasadena, CA)

Do you have a passion for building intuitive application interfaces and providing design solutions that empower our customers? If so, Bluebeam is looking for a talented user experience and interface designer that can turn conceptual visual designs into well-crafted, efficient code. The ideal candidate will provide support for Bluebeam products by developing, maintaining and enhancing existing Desktop, Web and Client based applications. This is a terrific opportunity for an exceptional developer that enjoys challenges and has a hunger for helping to deliver quality, user-friendly products!


What you’ll do



  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Creative, and other stakeholders on the design, development, and integration of highly interactive and reusable UI/UX components.

  • Assist in identifying user requirements and translate them into efficient design solutions that will empower our end users.

  • Iteratively generate design and design alternatives to refine storyboards, wireframes, and mockups.

  • Analyze our current UIs and provide constructive feedback for the purpose of improving our existing solution.

  • Develop and deliver front end design assets.

  • Work closely with other developers to integrate UI components with the rest of the application logic and backend services.


What we’d like to see in you



  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field

  • 3+ years of equivalent software development experience with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) in an agile environment (Scrum).

  • Strong understanding of usability, human factors and the UX process.

  • Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles.

  • Strong understanding of design patterns such as MVVM and MVC.

  • Microsoft WPF and C# .NET experience, in particular with the use of templates, styles, and resources.

  • Experience working with ASP.NET / MVC web based applications.

  • Experience with browser-based web development technologies (HTML/5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, WebSockets).

  • A solid understanding of desktop, web, mobile and tablet interfaces and the ability to keep the design consistent across all of them.

  • Self-motivated and willing to "do what it takes" to get the job done.
