The General Board has an opportunity for a talented Senior Solutions Analyst to translate the organization’s conceptual business needs and requirements into reusable, functional designs, layout and coding of our websites. This Analyst will also develop implementation designs, execution models and specifications that align with the organization’s strategic plans. The web responsibilities of this opportunity include system analysis and design of IT web applications.
This position’s specific responsibilities include:
- Defining, communicating, and presenting web architecture strategies and directions to both IPS and business senior leadership; developing standards; leading and participating in strategic initiatives; providing technical leadership skills while maintaining current in development technologies; and educating customers (internal and external) on technologies used to provide solutions.
- Overseeing the entire web system lifecycle including analysis, design, development, testing and implementation/installation, and establishing resource task and role assignments and execution of deliverables.
- Executing and adhering to software development practices, processes and system development lifecycle methodology
- Providing IT governance over system design and development in accordance with Enterprise
Architecture (EA) standards and direction - Developing web technical design and specifications on system initiatives in compliance with EA methodologies and architecture direction
- Providing technical project oversight, coordination and facilitation, including leading and coordinating technical activities and artifacts throughout the project, collaborating with the EPMO project, application and infrastructure managers and directing implementation teams in the solution delivery process
- Developing sound and reasonable implementation solution strategies, project plans, estimates, and securing and managing project implementation resources; tracking resource utilization and costs relative to work estimates and expected deliverables
- Working with the business and technical resource teams, understand the business requirements and develop technical strategies for solution delivery including negotiating technical solutions that align with business objectives
- Managing and controlling project risks including project tracking and informational reporting and risk mitigation practices
