We are looking for a dynamic, well-rounded leader for our 30+ person development team. Blue Rooster specializes in SharePoint, Sitecore and mobile technologies and strives to push the envelope on the platforms we work on. We value individual thinking and problem solving in our developers, but will be looking to the manager to ensure that code standards are met and the proper processes are followed to craft solid, reusable features and solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a stellar development team. Provide leadership, set team policies, coach and mentor the team, have 1:1 meetings and resolve conflicts.
- Troubleshoot production problems, including allocating team resources to ensure timely resolution of any problems.
- Influencing development best practices within your team
- Establishing realistic estimates while ensuring that projects remain on track to meet deadlines.
- Supervise development tasks such as software design, prototyping, coding, trouble shooting, system configuration and unit testing product features.
- Actively participate in agile planning, scrum, demonstration and retrospective meetings.
- Assist in planning and implementing new features and enhancements to our SharePoint and Sitecore products, including understanding features of the technology and exploring high-level solutions with stakeholders at all levels.
