Solutran is an innovative leader in high volume payment processing serving the nation’s largest retailers, consumer product manufacturers, and state governments. We are recruiting an entry level software developer with an interest in MVC.NET/C# development as well as UI design. This position will be responsible for developing web and mobile applications for Solutran products, including a new patent pending promotion and payment platform that utilizes the latest technologies to assist health care providers in combatting obesity and promoting healthy eating. SUMMARY
This position will have a primary focus on developing internal and external 3-Tier web and mobile applications using ASP.NET, MVC.NET (C#) and web services. The ideal candidate will also have an interest in performing UI design functions utilizing CSS/HTML, JQuery and JavaScript. Solutran developers work closely with product managers, business analysts and management; this provides the right person an opportunity to not only build applications, but also have direct input into product development.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Develop web applications using ASP.NET/MVC.NET (C#)
- Develop user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and JQuery
- Participate in application and database design
- Participate in Agile/SCRUM development process
- Software testing/debugging
- Off-hours support as needed
- Other duties may be assigned
