You will have worked on a number of public-facing websites, preferably with some ecommerce experience, and will understand how to design and implement solutions that scale as the company continues to grow. You’ll wonder why we ask you about highly efficient database processing, exception handling and logging since those are things you do without thinking about them.
You are thorough in identifying dependencies and risks in technical designs and can propose and consider other options. You are excited about collaborating with your peers on new ideas and with sharing your knowledge, experience and passion of all things software related.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop innovative multi-tiered software solutions that meet challenging business requirements while also considering all critical factors such as performance, scalability, data security, operational effectiveness, cost and time to market
- Contribute to the design, development and support of the company’s websites and business-critical systems
- Participate in requirements gathering sessions and provide technical solutions to meet those requirements
- Write and present detailed design and technical specifications
- Contribute to and maintain a cohesive development framework and coding standards through intra-team communication and collaboration
- Design, create and test efficient, scalable database components
- Provide support to QA, Operations and business peers to identify and resolve issues
