Apogee Integration is seeking a level 4 Web Multimedia candidate to work in Springfield, VA
Duties:
- Design and develop new functionality for past, current, and future web-based/interactive initiatives
- Be responsible for website UI development using required skills and technologies
- Program code and be intimately familiar enough to be able to pick-up on any one team member’s code at any time- this requires coordination and overarching quality control
- Create rapid prototypes and wireframe interfaces to be used as a blueprint for design and technical development
- Document technical and design procedures to ensure knowledge sharing with external and internal teams
- Coordinate design and implementation of subcomponents across technical teams using agile operating procedures
- Collaborate with technical architects and business leads to understand functional requirements and the big picture to develop effective, flexible solutions
- Transform Photoshop mockups and wireframes into visually elegant web sites, interactive experiences, and/or functional prototypes
- Bridge the gap between design and technology, working with visual and interaction designers to implement and maintain pixel perfect user interfaces
- Anticipate cross-browser functionality problems and ensure they are accounted for in all delivered UI code
