IgnitionOne is a digital marketing solutions company providing world-class proprietary technology and expert services to improve digital marketing performance.  IgnitionOne’s integrated Digital Marketing Suite (DMS) helps marketers centralize, manage and optimize digital media, understand cross-channel attribution while helping to optimize conversions on a marketer’s website.

IgnitionOne is over ten years old and currently manages over $1 billion of advertising annually across search, display and social, powering more than $30 billion in revenue each year for leading brands, including General Motors, DirecTV, Ann Taylor, La Quinta, Travel Guard and Fiat, as well as advertising agencies such as MRM Worldwide and CyberAgent.

Work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment alongside some of the smartest thought leaders in the online media industry. Be part of a team that partners with Google, Yahoo, and Facebook to deliver the latest in emerging, next-generation technology. Have fun collaborating on innovative, challenging assignments where your opinion matters, you grow professionally and high performers are recognized and rewarded. And join a company on the cutting edge of digital media and technology that is regularly featured in major news media - most recently the Wall Street Journal, NY Times, Reuters, BusinessWeek, Bloomberg News and AdWeek, among others.

THE ROLE

We’re looking for people who love to make things, and who care about how things are made.  If you have a strong sense of awesome and like to express it in code or other technical means – for example one of our engineers is building a robot on the side – IgnitionOne is the place for you. Our engineers are passionate about code quality and ensuring that our code conveys meaning.

To that end, we practice agile development with elements of Scrum, Kanban and XP, using best-of-breed tools, languages, and patterns*.  We perform automated testing using both unit/TDD-style tests (based on Nunit and Moq), and integration/BDD-style tests using Specflow. We have around 2,500 tests so far, with many more to be written.

We handle huge volume (think hundreds of millions of transactions a day, and tables with billions of rows) and need a candidate who understands and can tackle the problems that come with scale.  We are currently in the middle of a large rearchitecture effort that is already making our platform incredibly fast, scalable, robust, and maintainable, and we are looking at rewriting the UI next.

Our work environment is top-notch, with spacious, stylish work areas, plenty of daylight, plenty of whiteboard space, great connectivity, and other perks like free soft drinks, free beer (three different kegs on hand!), ping pong, foozball, Xbox, biweekly and catered lunches.  Your future coworkers are highly collaborative and social, with summer open mic/karaoke nights and lots of other activities organized across not only IgnitionOne, but our sister company downstairs, 360i.
