We are looking for a seasoned leader to head our expanding team of technical writers and deliver professional-grade software documentation that covers the entire range of HERE products. The essence of the role is to facilitate the work of the writers to deliver technical documentation that makes HERE products easy to understand and use and to ensure on-going support for our DITA-XML-based publishing framework.
Yourresponsibilitiesinclude:
Acting as the product owner for the HERE technical documentation and the DITA-XML-based continuous delivery documentation tool chainDetermining the requirements for the documentation tool chain, taking responsibility for its development and maintenance and promoting its adoption within the HERE organization.Actively working to consolidate and promote documentation standards across the HERE organizationSourcing feedback from a variety of contributors and processing it to improve the quality of our developer-facing documentationEnsuring that the staffing levels and skill set of the documentation team and the team maintaining the documentation publishing tool chain are appropriate to the challenges the teams face
