ING is looking for a Data Architect.
As a Data Architect you will strengthen the Head Office architecture team that coordinates international countries in their implementations of Customer Centric Customer Intelligence, Predictive analytics and Big Data.
The Data Architect facilitates the development of a Customer intelligence strategy, design, and roadmap together with countries and the overall Enterprise Architecture community of architects. Collaborates with other involved organizations to formalize the short-term and long-term information strategies enhancing the technical architecture of the solution. It is the goal of the Data Architect to sit on customer architecture boards as a senior technical advisor to our RBI countries but also on the architecture boards of bank-wide Enteprise Architecture.
The Data Architect facilitates the development of Big Data information strategy and design, road maps for the countries and business units based on their initiatives, and collaborates with other involved Business Units. It is critical therefore that the Architect be experienced in the full enterprise information life cycle as a practitioner.
The Data Architect has both strategic and tactical responsibility for helping countries design and develop complex technical Data and Big Data architectures within enterprise class customer environments. The Data Architect possesses deep and broad technical skills across the entire Data architecture landscape, from traditional Datwarehousing techniques to the latest Big Data architectures.
The Data Architect is a practitioner with years of experience at an enterprise level possessing a broad understanding enterprise architectures and systems from an infrastructure level (capacity planning, high availability, virtualization, disaster recovery planning); to enterprise applications level; to Data Governance level (Information Life Cycle-Metadata Management-Data Quality Management) bringing deep knowledge of best practices and methodologies.
The Data Architect is responsible for ensuring architectural consistency of Data and Information Management products and their integration with the existing applications and infrastructure. Collaborates with the countries teams to ensure that all solutions designed are in line with the overall information agenda of the country.
The Data Architect is responsible to coordinate and promote the adoption of Predictive Analytics in the countries that he is responsible for. He has an overall view of the major initiatives led by the different business units of ING and is able to direct the countries and to create common interest among countries to promote replication and reusability among the various countries. In his role, he is responsible to liaise between the countries he is responsible for with other ING business units working on similar initiatives.
The Data Architect is responsible to lead and coordinate the collaborative community of local Data Architects in order to help them grow and cooperate with one another. The collaborative communities are essential to build an overview of country activities and to build in a coordinated and collaborative way.
