We seek an industry experienced Senior Technical Writer to create content for IT professionals who are new to Wowza products and/or the streaming industry as well as for experienced Wowza platform users. This position will require you to set up and use Wowza software and other 3rd party software to plan, write, and curate a wide variety of content including tutorials, User's Guides, technical articles, white papers, deployment guides, webinars, UI text, and training materials. You will work closely with Wowza's project management, engineering, support, marketing, and infrastructure teams, as well as with Wowza partners and customers to define and implement content strategies. You will also help to establish new best practices, improve existing processes, and implement new tools to increase operational efficiencies for managing content.
You will report to the Director of Engineering Support and Services as a member of the technical documentation team. You will be working closely with a cross-functional and geographically-dispersed team of experienced software professionals who are focused on creating, improving, and driving adoption of Wowza streaming media products. This role will require you to move nimbly from project to project and thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple assignments of varying complexity.
You must be passionate about digital media technologies and helping customers to be successful. As a customer advocate, you will play a vital role in helping customers be successful in implementing their Wowza workflow and streaming solutions. The success of Wowza is measured primarily in terms of customer satisfaction, which directly impacts revenue. This role will have a large impact on our success.
