Charles River Analytics is searching for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Decision Management Systems division. We are looking for a mature engineer who is comfortable working with a Principal Investigator to execute and manage multi-year, multi-million dollar artificial intelligence-based research and development programs. The job will include designing complex software systems, working in a dynamic research and development environment, managing teams of (sometimes geographically dispersed) junior engineers and subcontractors, developing test plans, interacting with customers, and documenting results. The candidate must be able to switch between rapid prototyping and the development of more mature systems, including rigorous testing, integration with third-party systems, and deployment at customer sites. The successful candidate must also stay up to date with modern software engineering languages, tools, and practices.
