As a Senior Program Manager for Consumer Products, your mission is to be a product leader on a team building inspiring new consumer applications that leverage INRIX’s big data and analytics prowess to bring millions of drivers greater sanity and control every single day. These applications have architectures spanning native iOS, Android, and web front ends interfacing with cloud services for app and user logic in order to provide the best user experience and evolve at the fast pace needed in the market. Exciting, high-impact technical problems abound - speech interfaces, timely alerting, personalization, social features and more. The existing iPhone and Android apps have been installed over 6 million times, and that is just the beginning.
The team is 100% focused on creating a next generation of consumer apps that truly wows in the first few minutes of use, and becomes an indispensable part of daily life for millions of people around the world. You will work with stakeholders and customers to understand their needs and with other engineers to design, develop and deploy the service. You will use your engineering expertise to lead a multi-discipline team through the development, delivery and deployment of complex projects. You must be capable of presenting strategy, plans and analysis to executives, as well as be able to have architectural discussions with the development team. Your primary focus will be on predictable execution, with a strategy and a plan for the future.
You must possess a strong program management background, have demonstrated experience leading large programs, and have a well-rounded technical background, including solid experience in mobile technologies. You must be able to thrive and succeed in a high growth environment, and not be deterred by ambiguity or competing priorities. You will be expected to demonstrate technical knowledge of complex products and services. You will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, manage risk, and balance the business needs with the technical strategy and constraints. Leadership, execution focus, negotiation skills, excellent communication, collaboration skills, ability to influence, analytical skills, and sound judgment are key success factors in this role.
