Trustwave is looking for the best and brightest Software Engineers and Architects to grow its Product Engineering Team in Chicago. Cybersecurity is at the top of every CIO’s list of priorities, and we build products that help solve their problems.
We are a very hands-on technical group from top to bottom. The team is made up of only Engineers, Architects, and some Architects with cool titles like “Director” and “VP”. Everyone is deeply involved in building our products. We're organized into small, agile teams that work together -- it’s like a bunch of cohesive start-ups.
We are hiring at all levels, Software Engineer (1-4 years), Senior Software Engineer (4-8 years), and Architect (8+ years). Since everyone is involved in all phases of development, the general job descriptions are pretty much the same. The more skills and experience you have, the more complex problems you get to solve.
Responsibilities
- Work in small, agile teams to design, prototype and build new product offerings and enhance existing products and tools
- Collaborate with Product Management to and identify, prioritize and document detailed product requirements
- Design, develop and document application and framework code in Java, Flex and other object-oriented programming languages
- Utilize Hadoop and other technologies to affect Trustwave’s Big Data environment
- Create robust automated unit/functional test suites and deployment scripts
- Work with internal QA team on system, performance and acceptance testing
